Nothing but Net at IRE 2023
The first quarter of 2023 has been especially busy for Atlas Roofing.
In just the last month alone, we hosted a booth at the International Roofing Expo (IRE) in Dallas, TX, where we gave away our Asphalt Life truck and introduced two brand-new shingles into our Pinnacle® family of products.
Hi-ho, Silver! Away!
A big congrats to Sondra and Don Davis, owners of All Things Roofing & Restoration in Colorado Springs, CO, who were the winners of our much-anticipated Asphalt Life Truck Giveaway!
Throughout 2022 — Atlas Roofing’s 40th anniversary year — contractors racked up points that made them eligible to win the truck, as well as many other high-ticket prizes.
The Davises were among the 10 finalists with the most points who received an all-expenses-paid trip to this year’s IRE, where they played a “Price Is Right”-style game for a chance to win the fully refurbished 1982 Chevy Silverado pickup truck.
After each finalist drew a number indicating the order in which they would select one of the 10 spaces on a “Punch-a-Bunch”-like game board, Sondra was up first, with her random punch being the lucky one.

The Pinnacle of Shingles
In addition to the truck giveaway, we debuted our new Pinnacle® Sun and Pinnacle® Impact shingles, each made with innovative technologies from 3M.
Featuring 3M™ Cool Roofing granules, Pinnacle® Sun shingles are made to reflect solar heat away from the roof, reducing the amount of radiant heat entering a home, decreasing its cooling requirements and ultimately increasing overall energy efficiency.
And as our newest Class 4-rated product, Pinnacle® Impact is manufactured with a unique polymer blend that provides superior hail resistance.
Pinnacle® Sun and Pinnacle® Impact also include 3M™ Smog-Reducing Granules, which have the smog-fighting capacity of 2-3 trees (on an average-sized roof), and 3M™ Scotchgard™ Protector, which protects against ugly algae stains.
Both new shingles will begin shipping in early April.
The Dribble Continues
IRE was only one of MANY Atlas events on the schedule for this year. Next up is our All-Stars Stadium Tour, hitting 10 cities across the country between April and August, starting with US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on April 13 and Ann Arbor on April 19.
